Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU department at St. Mary's Medical Center. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients in the PACU, utilizing critical thinking skills and the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.
